• What is the main thing to consider before beginning the order
• He asked mother Adele to think about how could they be different and in what ways could they(FMI) be same with other orders.
• Fr. Chaminade desired that Mother Mary be model for the order that will be founded by Mother Adele.
• Unlimited Field and All means of Works
• Fr. Chaminade expresses his desire to Mother Adele that their Order(FMI), must think of bringing people to salvation.
• They could choose education as a first and primary mean for this task but they should be open to whatever the ways providence guides them to serve the people.
• In this he brings the idea of Unlimited fields and all means of works.
• Their Zeal must make a change from the other orders and this must be their primary goal.
• By experiencing their zeal Christians will be multiplied.
• He encouraged them to be faithful to their prayer life and to their commitment.
• He seemed to have discouraged the sisters to not only focus their mission in teaching or health-care but also to help people in prayer and faith.
• Therefore he suggested that they choose candidates who are interested in these works.
• Admission to the FMI
• They agreed that the candidates who had entered other novitiates would not be admitted to the FMI novitiate.
• They also agreed that orphans could be helped by admitting them to the FMI but it will not be the only way to get vocations.
• They should be open to all the people. They feared that they might end up in helping only the orphans.
• Letter #924. Fr. Chaminade wrote to Bro. Genre.
• Love to be poor.
• Use the things that the society wants us to use.
• We should have liberty of mind and heart in the practice of Christian and religious views.
• Obedience will deliver us from the interior troubles.
• Obedience practiced attacks pride directly.
• Use your free time properly, in reading and praying and learning new things.
