PORTRAIT OF A MARIANIST PRIEST
§ The priests of the society of Mary should be the models of the brothers of Mary and a pleasing fragrance for the church of Jesus Christ.
§ The priests will keep in mind ever more and more the dignity with which they are invested in order to arouse themselves to the most zealous practice of the evangelical virtues.

q When we think of a priest of the society of Mary, we have in mind an excellent model of the religious virtues
q The priests will be especially entrusted with the duty of teaching the society’s doctrine on devotion to the most holy virgin.

The study of theology and holy scripture is a strict duty for all the priests.
It is very important to have the teaching of philosophy and theology and he can initiate you into the reading of holy scripture without neglecting the study of church history.
The study will involve all the important practical problems of enclosure, the vows, mental and vocal prayers, penances, and the interior life and catholic education.
DIRECTION
